Last week end I finally could test drive an Autolib (or Bluecar) in Paris, avenue des Ternes, as there was a free demo for a day
Well it was a bit short of a test drive, to allow all the people in line to have a go, but I could see what it was like: you are seating high, everything looks a bit cheap (but it is not a luxury EV), at least it must be built to last (not sure because some plastic parts were broken already) ...
The surprise for me was that the GPS system allows you to choose any Autolib station as a destination (it is not preset / booked from the start like I though it was), see their real time status (number of open spots), and the system will guide you to it, and that is a very nice feature
