ELECTRIC vehicle charging stations will be activated in a B&B near Truro thanks to a donation.
Visitors to Homestead Farm B&B and Wishing Well Cottage at Penhallow can now recharge overnight or 'top up' their electric vehicle during the day.
Julie Harrod, from Homestead Farm, said: "We are very pleased to be supporting electric car drivers by installing Zero Carbon World's charging stations."
"It is a great feeling to know that we are now a part of a national network of locations offering reliable charging to drivers."
Zero Carbon World donates charging stations to the hotel and leisure industry to encourage use of electric vehicles.
Mrs Harrod said: "We have not had a customer yet but we are excited for when the first one turns up. I believe this is a great idea and another way of attracting people."
Mrs Harrod got in touch with Zero Carbon World after being persuaded by her daughter that electric cars were the future.
"We have never had a guest who owns an electric car, but we are hoping this will encourage people to start coming."
