I got some help for opening the package

Some lugs, but a lot of them : M8 or 8mm and M6 or 6mm


by packs of 100 and some small glass 2A fuses

Maybe some are starting to guess what all this is for .... Stay tuned ...

DIY ESS Kit - Kit #1 for Sale, Now it's your turn !

Now that the Kit Building Documentation, the Components List, the User Manual are finished, and that the first 5 Arduino Leonardo boards have been shipped to me, I am happy to announce that I can start selling the first kit of my LiFePO4 DIY ESS : Kit #1 for 490 EUR

DIY ESS Kit User Manual is finished

Finally the last document for the build of the DIY ESS is written, just finished it 5 minutes ago

After the Kit Building Documentation and the Components List, this last step will cover the daily use of the newly built DIY ESS:

- In Case of any Problem/Emergency

- Switch ON the ESS

- Switch OFF the ESS

- Protecting the ESS battery pack for long period of no use

- Protecting the ESS battery pack from Low Generation or No Generation at all

- Forced Charge Mode

DIY ESS Kit Components List is finished

This took more time than I thought ... To write this one, I put myself in the shoes of people in the USA or somewhere else in Europe, willing to order the Kit Components

For each item, I provide the name of the Maker or Distributor, his online store or specific Contact Details (sometime direct email), the exact Reference and/or Name to find it right away in the store, the Quantity needed, and a Picture of the item you have to get

This list of all sorted by Vendor, so that items are already grouped by places you have to visit (easier)

DIY ESS Kit Building Documentation is finished, now working on the User Manual and the Components List

As mentioned two days ago, the DIY ESS Kit Building Documentation has been in the works for more than a week now, reviewed it many times, and, last night, I finally added the last part on the IKEA PS Metal Cabinet to make the ESS safer & nicer looking.

The Documentation is now finished and today I should be working on the User Manual and the Components List with links and addresses to get them.

Once these last, smaller, documents are done, I will start buying Arduino boards to flash them with my program and the first version on my Kit, DIY ESS Kit #1 will be ready to ship :-)
