Renault ZOE almost live from Boulogne - Video & Pics

On my way back from work, I rode my Vectrix an extra 3 kilometers to reach the Renault test track on Ile Seguin where I could take pictures and videos of the ZOE :-)

First one I crossed on the new bridge

People came out of the presentation building and are now splitting into small groups to test drive ZOE

The white ZOE that came out of the test track is now parked in front of the EV Center, at the bottom of the new bridge

Test drive is over now, time to head back home for some diner; my wife must be wondering where I am :-)

Last week, the very first people who got to test drive the Renault ZOE where journalists from BFM TV, a French news channel



The test drive starts after 4 minutes of talking ... and the journalists comments and knowledge about Electric Cars is poor, but we are used to this by now...



More important, a ZOE "fanboy" went to the Paris Motor Show, willing to ordered one, and got to test drive it in Boulogne, at the Renault EV Center (Centre Z.E.) on the EV test track of Ile Seguin:
He reported that it was very cool, but no filming !? Is Renault afraid of something ?

Renault ZOE Overview - Interior, Intrumentation and Charge Port

Few days before the 2012 Paris Motor Show, I went to Renault EV Center to check out what they had at the moment

To my surprise, another Zoe was there, white this time, and with the doors open ... (last time I came everything was locked)

The exterior design is a hit I think, very nice

Then I asked my son to find the button to open the charge port 

Like the LEAF, it is located at the bottom left of the dash

And there it is, opening at the front, behind the Renault logo, with a illuminated Z.E. in the back

Once the charge port door is opened, there is another cap to remove ...
