Parked next to a Tesla Model S & Charging

Yesterday at the mall, I got to park next to a Tesla Model S, and it does not append very often
Here it was plugged in and charging using the regular EVSE provided by Tesla, plus an extension cord, like I do, because the 200V AC plug provided would not fit here ...

and when I came back to the LEAF, the other Electric Only spot was ICEed by a diesel car ....- They should just tow them directly without warning I think -

When I came back, there was a DIY ? Kit Plugin Prius II plugged in ...

That reminded me of 2009, four years ago, when I had installed this Enginer PHEV Kit in mine ...

Last Saturday before Christmas - Vectrix Electric Ride in Paris with my Son

Last saturday, people were running their last errands before Christmas, so we decided to go to Paris using the Vectrix, my son and I.



First we headed to this new mall, #NouveauBeaugrenelle, which has been under renovation for years now; It is pretty nice, and you can get British products from Mark & Spencer, back in Paris here now

For lunch break yesterday, I went to this Parly2 mall not far from work, where I test drove the i3 during the BMW i3 Tour, got to plug in my LEAF outside in a working outlet this time, and saw this right when I entered:  A beautiful Portrait Video Commercial for the BMW i3 French Launch

















In the meantime, I am charging ...

6 Autolib available in a new Mall close to Paris

Yesterday, it was so rainy in Paris that we gave up our little hangout in Marais to go in this new big mall almost touching Paris, "So Ouest".

I looked for Electric Cars spots, and charging stations and found nothing but 6 Autolib spots.
Later on, at the front desk, I found out there are actually 4 spots for EVs,  I do not know why Autolib spots are so well indicated and why regular EV spots are not ....

Arriving at the Parly 2 Mall, next to Versailles and started to go around this - big - parking to try to find a charging spot



I found them ! EV Charge Spots !


Now I can go shopping there, park right away without looking for a spot and charge :-) cool

(I remember spending  a lot of time looking for a spot sometimes)


I like simple sockets like this: Keep it Simple !




My EVSE extender - 3.49 EUR for the white 16A cord and 5 EUR for the weatherproof junction box -

The only problem is the one next to it had a broken lid and rain going straight into the live wires ... oops
