Nissan starts global production of e-NV200 in Barcelona and will be shipping the mini van even in Japan from there !

As you probably already know, it will use all the electric components already used in the LEAF, batteries, AC motor, inverter / controller, charger .... since they all have proven their reliability

It will come in a commercial version and family with 3 rows of seats

Its length is actually shorter than the LEAF by 5 cm ... pretty compact, uh ! and 30 cm higher

Nissan to Produce 100% Electric Van in Barcelona

The all-electric e-NV200 will be produced at Nissan's Barcelona facility from 2013, creating 700 new jobs and giving a timely boost to the Spanish economy.
