Who's that girl ? Exact same LEAF on the freeway

Last friday, on my way back from work on the freeway, I was surprised to see the exact same LEAF as ours, so I shot this short sequence with one hand :-)

Do you see the pollution in the air, this yellowish smog ?

Stuck in this usual traffic jam, I suddenly heard a familiar sound out of my left open window and saw a red LEAF :-)   


So there is hope ... few people are buying Electric Cars ... but overall when I get closer to Paris, I realize the smog is even thicker here, with all these diesel cars, I here I can not even see La Defense high rises through it ...


and the Eiffel Tower is very difficult to spot too

Started two years ago to talk about what I do to use less energy, pollute less, I hope I have reached many people and will reach even more in the future

You too can do all this:
- Change all your home light bulbs to LED
- Install an Energy Monitor to see how much Electricity you are using
- Change your ICE car for an Electric car, the LEAF is a very good one (3 years without a single battery problem)
- Get an Electric Scooter: Vectrix VX-1 or BMW C-Evolution (coming to market in May)
- Change your gas/fuel heating system for a Heat Pump, you will get Air Conditioning with that
- Install Solar on your Roof to use the Generated Electricity
- Use most of your Generated Energy by Storing it for later use with my DIY ESS Kits
- Use High Speed Train instead of Air Planes , TGV here gets you to French Riviera from Paris in 3h only
- .... there are many others ways to improve .... find your own

Pollution Alert in Paris ! Diesel again ...

Heavy #pollution in #Paris this morning: big yellow smog ; 70% diesel cars and now the visible result ... Switch to#EV ! ( or ride a bike), please

It is a over the news and people are starting to see the effect of heavy diesel transportation in France ...







Public transportation is Free for 3 days starting today, but buses are still diesel ...

Only one person seems to have the political will to fight diesel and it is Anne Hidalgo, running for major of Paris

With Simon & Garfunkel's Sound of Silence running in background, a woman with a big hammer (reference to Ridley Scott's 84' Apple Superbowl Commercial)  is walking towards the street, and starts striking a big grey concrete wall (I think it represents the diesel/smog/car pollution); Then a group of people imitate her and come to help ...






Then Zoé appears

and life is good :-)
